the 1970’s

I’ve had the pleasure of shooting a few music videos set in 1970’s Australia. These are passion projects as mine, as I adore the aesthetic of the decade, so much so that my whole house, my car and a lot of my clothes look like they’ve come out of a time machine. I’m often told I was born in the wrong generation.

These videos are reminiscent of a more simple time, before technology took over our social interactions. A time when kids would play outside until the street lights came on, the cars were brightly coloured and built like tanks, the music was played with real instruments and the fashion was bright and patterned.

I organised the wardrobe, locations, props and set design for all of these videos, and, of course, the classic cars, whether my own or from friends with similar interests. I also directed, shot and edited each film.

Although I am very passionate about a generation that ended almost 20 years before I was born, I have also produced Music films in different styles.

‘Natalieves’ was shot in a day where we took a bunch of props to a park with no plan, and had fun with it.

‘The Pre’s Song’ was shot handheld on a Saturday night at a Danitchy show, encompassing the raw aspect of live music.

Music films can vary in length, style, objective and content. I am always excited to work with new people, and can produce videos in a range of styles.

A video package is the perfect way to remember your wedding day, capturing the emotion and moments that would otherwise be lost in such a busy day. It will be something for you and your partner to look back on for years to come, and to share your day with friends and family on social media.

I prefer to shoot in a way that is non intrusive, and I do my best to blend in on your special day. My key objective is to capture the day in a natural, yet elegant way, allowing you to look back on the day as it was. I prefer not to control people too much, or make you 'pose' for shots, but rather capture real-life moments, as most of the time I can capture shots while you are having photos taken, therefore not disrupting the flow of events throughout the day.

THE FULL PACKAGE

This is a package designed to suit most couples, and sits at an incredible price for a full HD wedding film. It can be altered to suit your needs, and includes travel within 2 hours of Melbourne CBD. 

There are 3 styles of films to choose from; Classic, Retro and a mix of both.

- A pre-wedding meeting (via video call) to discuss ideas and plan how your wedding will be shot. 

- Filming for the full day (including getting ready offsite if need be.)

- A full length film roughly 6-8 minutes in length to share online, including royalty free music.

- A 1-minute trailer (perfect for Instagram) cut from the main film with the same music.

- an optional second export of the video with music changed to 2-3 songs of your choice (personal/home use only for music copyright reasons)

- all finals delivered to you via Dropbox, or in person via USB.

- You are also welcome to have a copy of the raw footage/audio from the speeches and any other presentations I capture.

- I will send you a private link to a draft video, which you can review and request one round of editing changes if there is anything you would like changed!

I take a more natural approach to my wedding films, capturing an authentic record of the day, and I try to stay out of the way as much as possible, capturing the day as it happens. I work mostly by myself, and will usually shadow the photographer for most of the day. The main thing I want to ensure is that your special day is not interrupted, and that adding a video element to your wedding doesn't cause any extra stress, but gives you a great way to remember the day as it happened.

Real Estate Videos

Real Estate video is a great way to advertise a property online. It is often said that photos are limited in what they show when advertising a property. Photos can cover the wide shots and get a basic idea of the property, but video is the best way to capture the atmosphere, giving potential buyers an emotional connection to their new home.

Video is a great tool to showcase the fixtures and fittings of the property and highlight local attractions through aerial video. Videos can also include spoken testimonials from Agents and/or Vendors. These details are often missed in a typical online listing comprising of only photos and lengthy text descriptions.
